Evaluative Language in Electronic Product Reviews

Tato práce bude zaměřena na ohodnocení jazyka v recenzích mobilních telefonů. K tomuto účelu bude použita recenze Apple iPhone 7. Apple má širokou nabídku produktů, jmenujme počítače, tablety, hodinky nebo mp3 přehrávače. Mobilní telefony jsou ale jedním z nejpopulárnějších produktů. Z tohoto důvodu, jsou recenze mobilních telefonů perfektním zdrojem pro tuto tezi. Účel této práce je analyzovat a demonstrovat prostředky ohodnocení jazyka v reklamní mluvě a odhalení strategií a jazykových prostředků použitých k ovlivnění čtenáře, při apelování na city, morálku a estetiku chápání. Předpokládám, že recenze jsou zaujaté díky použité formě jazyka, která může obsahovat osobní názory autora nebo metody manupulace se čtenářem. Tyto metody mohou být použity při stylizaci textu, mohou apelovat na emoce nebo sociální zázemí čtenáře nebo mohuu být použity při rozhodování o tom zda a jaké informace v recenzi poskytnout. Tato teze ověří, zda je tato hypotéza platná.

Judicial Responsibility and Limits of the Decision-making Process in Roman Law

The aim of the thesis is to highlight various legal institutions which have carried over into modern times from Roman law and at the same time to provide a historical perspective for the on-going discussion about the changes in contemporary Czech justice. The main subject of the thesis is the responsibility of a judge and the limits of the judge's actions during the period of Roman republican law. Although the primary focus of the thesis is civil law, excursions into penal law as well as into the law of the Roman Empire are necessary in order to maintain the integrity of the text.

This thesis studies different conceptions of knowledge as they were conceived by George Berkeley and Immanuel Kant. In the first chapter we concentrate on Berkeley's pragmatic interpretation of knowledge which is based on the localization of the non-predicative judgements into the inner structure of perception. As the result there is such knowledge which is by human being used to identification of conditions for the formation of particular combinations of ideas and also to their more or less exact prognosis. We concentrate also on Berkeley's attempt to avoid "ontological" or "absolute" interpretations of "traditional concepts of metaphysics" as ,substance', an absolute existence of non-egoistic matterial being etc. In the second chapter of this thesis we are trying to study in which way is the idea of knowledge being transformed, in case that the starting point for interpretation of knowledge is, according to Kant, descriptive analysis of synthetic judgements a priori, whose proposition is the synthesis of subject and predicate. We will show that Kant contributed to the new understanding of metaphysics as transcendental research possibility of knowledge, and how were thanks to that meanings and status of subject and object transformed. Equations at high schools

The Bachelor's thesis is focused on the issues of equations, taught on elementary and high schools. Students make numerous errors when solving them, which stem from the wrong ways of solving these equations, but more importantly from assembling them. The first part of the thesis is focused on the types of equations (linear, quadratic, ...) and the ways of solving them. In the second part is the usage of equations when solving given problems. These word problems are solved through the usage of equations and the through the student's judgement, that most schools don't develop. There are exercises at the end of the thesis.

Reasoning in the judgement as a part of the right to a fair trial

Reasoning in the judgement as a part of the right to a fair trial Abstract This thesis concerns the topic of legal reasoning in the judgements of civil law. As the issue of civil judgements is very broad, the thesis is focused only at reasoning in the judgements being issued in civil disputes, only in the form of judgments and resolutions (both on merits or not). For the same reason, the thesis is limited by the fact that it focuses exclusively on the reasoning of those judgements, which are issued only by the courts of first instance and the courts of appeal. The main focus of the thesis is therefore the legislation of reasoning in the judgement and resolution enshrined in the Code of Civil Procedure. Where appropriate, legislation de lege lata is compared with the possible future legislation of the civil process, which is currently presented in the draft law. Furthermore, it should be noted that the current legislation is supplemented by conclusions resulting from the case law of the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court and the European Court for human rights. Telecommunications regulation

The content of my work has been chosen on the basis that I have spent most of my career working as a regulatory lawyer in telecommunications. I started my career as a lawyer at the Czech Telecommunications Office and after few years I moved to the Ministry of Transport, which was then also responsible for telecommunications, and its strategy and legislation. Finally I joined Radiomobil (now T-Mobile Czech Republic) where I have spent 15 years to date. The development of technologies in the last 20 years is without a doubt fascinating. It is exciting to observe the sector regulation trying to catch up with the fast moving technological developments, and often aiming at attempting to regulate what cannot be regulated. At the same time we can witness the overregulated European telecommunications market gasping for air in comparison with other regions as it becomes less and less attractive to investments and investors, which is evidenced by the major European companies leaving the European markets and moving their activities into the less regulated regions of the world. A direct consequence of that is the consolidation of the European telecommunications markets.
